Slugthorn Reborn

New day, new choices.

As we prepare to play the day before Easter, we prep dyed eggs and get ready to roll.

Basch looks around himself helplessly and then looks defeated all at once. "I'm over here looking for character sheets I don't have". The group collectively laughs and unanimously declares, "you're the DM".

Boggs and King argue regarding parental lineage and how to get out of it. We decide he can roll per session until he rolls out and then this silly predicament is over. King rolls a 19. It is over.

We recap from last game.

First roll of the game, 17, provided by the DM. Neutral temp. Average cloud coverage. Wimdy AF.

Novel is taming horses. She hasn't won them over, but they aren't completely wild anymore.

Kiseki, I, am getting farm animals i.e. pigs, cows. I am searching for 3 hours before finding signs of swine. I use 'Goodberry'. 11. I summon berries. I make a noose and catch one pig with those berries. I then made a fence around the caught pig and placed roots. I loosened the pig so he can walk but still be tethered. I caught 20 pigs. I then cast pass without trace and close off the fence, so pigs are trapped. I then shape into a warhorse. I run back to town. hook up trailer wagon. Stable hand, Jafar, goes with me back to pigs. I go around them and back up to the gate opening. I shift back to normal Wood Elf. We squeeze the fence and drive the pigs into the trailer, shutting the door behind them. I shift back into horse and hook up heading to town. We make it back to town and we go to the corral to unload the pigs. I locate and talk to the boss and tell him I am Nymera.

King rolls to see how good he makes the farm that will receive the animals I'm bringing. 13. Builds a decent animal sanctuary.

And with that, the town is done. The chief is made City Manager. And we run the town, renaming it Swouse.

Kiseki controls agriculture.

King controls the crops specifically & manual labor.

Boggs is the diplomat.

Novel is the troop manager.

Lil Buffalo is the treasurer.

Novel goes to the information box to see what civilian complaints there are today. The group goes with. Kiseki goes for the investigation quest. Novel chooses to join along with Lil. We choose to take our pet rhino with a cart to the haunted house in question.

Boggs and King go on an extermination quest. It is bandits. They immediately head off and we follow their journey. They get to location without incident. The area is presented as a cave - one way in and one way out.

King

King uses shape earth and makes a funnel around the bandits in their camp. Nat 20. Things. He must defeat next foes by himself.

Boggs

Boggs tries to fireball. 19. Screams and sizzling can be heard from within the funnel.

King

King uses earthquake and tries to finish them off. 17. Caved in the funnel. King gains a level from the card and 225 EXP. Equaling out to 525 total EXP.

King and Boggs head back to town and confront 4 wolves.

Wolves

Wolf bites at King. King tries to grab it by the snout. Grabs it by the throat. Boggs then gets bit taking 3 damage from a different wolf.

Boggs

Boggs then goes to acid spray the one that is actively biting him. Failed. Then as bonus action he uses firebolt. Firebolt kills the wolf.

King

King goes to swing the wolf he has a grip on into another one and fails. He just throws the wolf in general. He then rages.

Wolves

Wolf 1 spends 1 turn getting up. Wolf 2 is going for a butt bite on King. Misses. Wolf 3 is dead. Wolf 4 is going to bite Boggs's leg again. Misses.

Boggs

Boggs uses innate sorcery. Then uses firebolt. 18. Dead.

King

King performs a wide sweep attack against the wolves. 2. Rolls to see how bad. 21. does a full 360 swing and hits his target. 6 damage for one and 4 damage for the other.

Wolves

Wolf 1 is lunging for King's throat. 10 to save. Failed. King takes 6 damage. Rolls a 2 to avoid being taken down. Wolf 2 goes for King and does 3 damage.

Boggs

Boggs firebolts the Wolf on King's throat. Kills the wolf. Boggs does it again and hits the remaining wolf. It dies.

Each player gets 100 EXP.
