The village of shacks will not stay that way for long.
As we prepare to play for the evening, Lil refills his coffee and rolls the first D20 of the night. Natural 20. That bodes well. The D&D music on YouTube is playing faintly in the background. Waiting on pizza and snacking on crackers and gushers like big adults do. Pencil sharpened, papers gathered, tabs open. It's go time.
Basch
Basch asks for a recap from the group. Given that information, we begin.
King
King rolls a natural 20 to see how he gets introduced. He chooses to go to town - Slugthorn. He rolls to see which buildings are which. He goes to the food shelter. He sees people eating. He looks for someone that is in charge and doesn't see anyone who appears to be in charge. He asks someone what's up with the town. He is told they have had problems with Ghouls and Lizard Folk but there is a party taking care of it now. King asks where the party is now and ascertains there is no need for helping them. He then asks about other problems. The villager says food. He goes to look at the vegetation native to the area. He sees some sort of tubers growing and rice paddies. Looks at tubers, sees simply tubers.
Novel Rook
Searching the towers in the area we fought and won last session, she locates a short bow and 10 arrows. She pockets the arrows.
Lil Buffalo
Loots bodies and finds 4 silver pence.
Boggs
Looted the geomancer bodies. He finds 3 bottles of alchemist's fire.
Kiseki
Assesses the area and sees a hut with a leather wrapped box. I attempt to open it. I find a small pistol and 10 bullets. I join Lil on the edge of town. Novel and Boggs join as well. We head back towards town. We get ambushed after an hour of walking.
Boggs
Boggs is going to fireball. All players roll to dodge. Novel & Lil take the blast to the face in addition to three Lizard Folk. One lizard dies.

I cast aura of vitality to assist Novel in taking the hit. I then attempt to crack the lizard with an uppercut using my quarterstaff. I miss. I then use produce flame and grab his feathers and set him on fire.
Enemies 1
Tries to hit me and fails.
Novel Rook
Used lucky footwork to move through the trees and get behind the lizard folk. She then used master of tactics to provide everyone with a buff.
Enemies 2
Lizard attempts to swipe at Lil and succeeds. Then Lil tries to dodge a tail swipe. "Fates please" he says cheerfully after rolling a 1, being knocked prone. He gains a +2 to a chosen skill and has to draw again. He then got the ability to resurrect someone. This card is placed on standby. The second lizard will attempt to attack Boggs and misses. Then it attacks again knocking him prone and causing 3 damage.
Lil Buffalo
Gets up. Casts aid. Helps Boggs.
Boggs
Gets up. Shoves flames down a throat.
Kiseki
I cast heat metal on my sickle and slash one lizard. He dies.
Novel Rook
She pierces into one with a dagger killing it. She then attempts to stab the last one in the neck. Natural 1. Things. It affected magic items which she does not have so it does nothing.
Enemy
Attacks Lil. Lil took 1 damage. Lizard attempts to knock Lil prone again. Lil is prone again. Lil takes 5 damage.
Lil Buffalo
Got up. Breath attack to the face. Natural 20. Fates. Hostile Dragons card. Mull again. Drew a rhino mount. Froze the enemy with breath attack. EXP earned. We return to town now that we're done.
Kiseki
Sees King for the first time. King is excited to see wood elves. Meets with King and tells him to go wait with the group. King goes away. I go to the Chief. I tell chief the lizards are dead. I offer to remodel town in exchange for continued room and board. Chief agreed.

King
Goes to raise the town according to our plans. Rolls continuously for 55 successful rolls. Rolled another 122 D20s for the construction of the buildings. Two days pass.
Kiseki
Checked in with the town Chief. He approved of developments. Requested walls, farm, and training center. I then go to meditate.
Group
Rests. Boggs wants to know if he can roll to convince King he is his son. King crit failed. Fates. Cut his own nut off to draw again x3. Picked - for the next 24 hours impervious to physical harm.
Novel Rook
She found sugar cane and gathered it taking it to her house.
King
Takes 8 days to build a wall

Steals books from where he was trained to fill the library

Organized the stolen books. Starts doing landscaping for the farm.

I am using plant growth to reinforce the foundations with mangrove roots. It will take a few days. I then go to the Chief and tell him I am going to gather animals for the stable.

Talks to the chief and tells him to send all sick and needy his way.
Novel Rook
Going to gather up able bodied individuals for workers.
Kiseki
I transform into a war horse and track down a band of wild horses. I saunter over and convince the stallion to follow. He is charmed. Herd is following. I head back to town. On the way I find another band of horses. I take on 3 more. 17 total - 2 foals.
King
Finishes the wall. Builds the stalls. Builds a corral.
Kiseki
I get back to town and put horses into the corral.
